Work order
A record of a maintenance task, from the resident's request through assignment, completion, cost and follow-up.
A work order captures the issue, location, priority, permission to enter, the assigned technician or vendor, photos, labor and materials, and completion notes. Costs may be billed to the owner or charged back to the resident when the resident caused the damage.
Work order data shows response and completion times, repeat problems and maintenance costs by property, which helps with budgeting and with owner and resident satisfaction.
