Lesson 1 of 5 · 5 min

Trust ledgers and balances

Designate trust accounts, post to the trust ledger, and watch per-property balances.

If you hold owner funds or resident deposits in trust, StrivBridge keeps a trust ledger per property alongside the general ledger. Turn on Post resident payments to the trust ledger and Post bill payments to the trust ledger under Setup › Organization, and designate the right bank accounts as trust accounts.

Read the Trust accounting page

Financial › Trust accounting shows each trust account with its bank balance, book balance and variance, and per-property balances underneath. A property's balance is the money you hold for that owner.
