Late fees

Assess late fees from each property's rules, and understand why a lease was skipped.

Each property's late-fee rules live on its setup checklist under Late fee defaults: grace period, grace balance, base amount and any daily amount. Financial › Late fees applies them.

  1. Open Financial › Late fees and choose Assess as of today's date.
  2. Review the list. Each lease shows days late, the balance past due and the fee.
  3. Read the reason for any lease that will not be charged.
  4. Post the late fees.

The Collections list: leases owing, status and amount outstanding.
